Professions

This page gives information about the different professions in Project Alpha. Later on we'll include some actual crafting recipes, but for now it just explains each of them.

Herb Gathering

Herb Gathering allows you to pick various herbs and plants, which are then used in alchemy.

Alchemy

Alchemy is used to make potions, and even other crafting materials. Alchemists can make anything from simple potions, such as health and mana potions, to advanced potions, such as the sun bane potion and skin lotion.

Mining

Mining is used to gather minerals and ores. In some situations, it may even help discover secret passages and treasures.

Blacksmithing

Blacksmithing is used to make armor and weapons. The items you craft start out as useless junk, but as you become a master blacksmith, you can craft weapons and armor of legendary proportions.

Cooking

Cooking is used to, well, cook! It lets you take some raw materials and cook them into something better, like ramen noodles or peanut butter and jelly.
